The Rag Circle
About

Why The Rag
Circle Exists.

We live in a time of noise. The Rag Circle was built as the opposite, a quiet, intentional space where people can return to themselves, to one another, and to the wisdom of their ancestry.

The Founder

A circle drawn
by hand, with care.

Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Deep with Rag's journey into reflection, spirituality, and community began through personal loss, isolation, and a deep search for meaning. Growing up, he lived openly and freely, accepting life as it came. But After losing his mother, something within him changed. He gradually withdrew from people, spent more time alone, and began questioning life, identity, purpose, and the deeper meaning behind his experiences. During that time, he realized many people around him were carrying silent questions about themselves, their lives, their gifts, and their roots, but had nowhere to speak openly about them. Through personal experiences, reflection, and African-rooted spiritual understanding, he began using his voice to create conversations around clarity, purpose, ancestral connection, identity, spiritual awareness, and reconnecting with one's roots in a modern world. What started as online conversations eventually became something greater. The Rag Circle was created as a space for people seeking deeper connection, intentional community, guidance, grounding, reflection, and real conversations. It is a space for people navigating spiritual awakenings, searching for direction, reconnecting with their roots, and trying to better understand themselves and the path they are walking. For Deep with Rag, The Rag Circle represents stepping fully into purpose while helping others reconnect with theirs. His work centers around intentional living, meaningful conversations, community, spiritual grounding, personal reflection, and creating spaces where people feel understood, connected, and seen again.

Manifesto

What we hold
to be true.

01

We move slowly.

There is no rush in the work of becoming. We let things ripen.

02

We honour our lineage.

We remember those who came before. Their gifts live in us.

03

We listen first.

Real conversation begins in silence and attention.

04

We hold space.

Every voice in the circle is met with care and witness.

05

We trust the body.

Rhythm, breath, ocean, drum. The body remembers what we forget.

06

We grow together.

Transformation is a community practice, not a private one.

Vision

From a circle on the beach,
to a global gathering.

We are building toward a future of private memberships, audio sessions, retreats, global gatherings, and a cultural storytelling platform. A home for the spiritually grounded and culturally rooted.

For now, we begin where everything must. In the circle.

Sit with us.

The next gathering is approaching.
